Trash pack for campers

Muji Award, its a international design competition. First prize won by a straw made of a straw. That’s environmentally friendly. What I like is this one which won the second price. Its a trash pack for outdoors.

GreenPrint Makes The World A Difference

If all US households with a computer used GreenPrint over $6 billion would be saved a year. If all new computers used GreenPrint greenhouse gas emissions would be reduced by over 117 million tons. That’s the equivalent of removing 23 million cars from the road for an entire year. If all new computers sold in 2006 used green print over 36 million trees would be saved every year
Wow, that a huge impact on saving up papers n cutting the CO2 in the air…that’s if and I say if every one of us install the software. But it only takes us one extra small step to look at the print preview before print out the document that we want, that helps too!

Halifax to Vancouver in a Smart Car
Wow..now here’s a fuel efficient car. From Halifax to Vancouver in 337 litres of gas!!! Honestly speaking, the normal cars which most of us drive are four seater. But do we actually need the extra seats all the time. May be occasionally but not always, rite?. Your cars are basically carrying unnecessary weight all the time so that resulted in more gas needed to drive the car and people on board and I would say that’s a waste of fuel. Personally, I think there are many ways to save up gas:
- Do not put things that aren’t necessary into you car as that will increase the load.
- Personal driving habits, don’t step on the pedal even if you see a stop sign in front of you.
- Drive at reasonable speed on the high way, the faster you drive the more drag you car will create.
- Do not fuel you gas tank to 100% as that will carry extra weight as well. Optimal fueling would be 50% to 60%. (Not too sure about this, may be its a myth)
- Plan your trip. Ask for directions if you are lost!!
